Is there a recommended distance for the letters? I got my plate and applied a thin layer of the ink & it bleeds. Not sure if my letters are too close or im not applying as thin of a layer as I think

This is stunning!! I know you need to go thin but it keeps getting caked in between / in the letters like o e an etc. did this happen to you at first? I try to go thinner but then I go too thin 😩😂
