Ep 4. Chipotle’s Steak Recipe I used to work at Chipotle and I fell in love with their food. But, recently their prices have gotten so expensive. So, I decided to make this series and share my knowledge. All of Chipotle’s recipe use healthy ingredients and are so easy to make. INGREDIENTS: - 2 lbs Top Sirloin Steak (or your favorite steak) - 7 Oz Can of Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce - 4 Garlic Cloves - 1 Tsp Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp Dried Oregano - 1 Tsp Black Pepper - 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder - 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil - 3/4 Cup of Water - Salt for seasoning DIRECTIONS: 1. Blend the Marinade: In a blender, combine the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, garlic cloves, cumin powder, dried oregano, black pepper, chili powder, olive oil, and water. Blend until smooth. 2. Marinate the Steak: Place steak in large bowl or bag. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it's well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight. 3. Preheat: When ready to cook, preheat your grill, skillet, etc to medium-high heat. 4. Season and Cook the Steak: Season steak with salt on both sides. Cook the steak for about 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired level. 5. Rest and Serve: Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving.
