@jasminseats: Boujee on a budget brings you my shortcut version of Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) using stock pots. This was a little bit of a fail but tasty nonetheless lol. Below is the list on ingredients, however, I made a large batch to use the left over filling for a fun lil recipe that will go live tomorrow. Ingredients: 500g pork mince 2 spring onions, thinly sliced 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 tbsp soy sauce (the stock pots are super salty as is) 1 tsp fresh ginger, freshly grated 1 tsp white pepper 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice 1/2 tbsp sesame oil 2 chicken stock pots, roughly chopped Gyoza wrappers 🚨Guys you CAN put too much of these stock pots in. They are very concentrated so don’t think putting more in will work! It’ll taste like straight up salt!!!!🚨 I pulled out 1/3 of the filling before adding the stock pots to make 18 dumplings. The leftovers will be used in tomorrow’s video. Any guesses? You can fold these however you like, just make sure you use water to seal the edges together to keep the ‘soup’ in while they steam. Steam in a bamboo steamer for 10 minutes. If you don’t have baking paper (like me) to put under each dumpling, lube up the bottom of the steamer and the bottom of each dumpling with sesame oil to prevent sticking. #xiaolongbao #soupdumplingrecipe #soupdumplings #budgetmeals #dinnerinspo #cheapeats #cheapmeals #EasyRecipes
