Yes, my daughter and I realized this. Our mortality hit us like a brick after I lost my mom and dad and we wondered about their possessions, photos, clothes, work experience, pain they felt, then we thought about ourselves. We realized it’s just our close family that would remember us, then when they are gone, our families lineage are simply and completely no longer. It was a mind blowing realization.
