Ontario here. Went to high school with uniforms. Loved it. Didn’t worry about the latest fashion trends, brands. My kids will go to that school too 👍

We have uniforms here in Aus. I preferred it as I didn’t have to find something to wear each day & it also stopped those who were richer picking on the poorer kids for the lack of brand name clothing.

My simple dress code for my kids. 1. Clean 2. Solid footwear. 3. If you are distracted by fit or feel, not for school. 4. Weather appropriate.

I went to school in the seventies in Ireland. The senior mistress measured the distance of our skirt hems to the floor. Boys had no such nonsense.

Australia we have uniforms, it I wish the students could wear anything in the uniform spectrum, ie boys in skirts/dresses or sports uniform

The original concept was to make all students equal no matter class level. As clothes can indicate income levels. That was the purpose behind uniforms
