@wilshrike: As promised, onto Kong! Hope you don’t mind me using this video as a mini tutorial for drawing fur. When I was gathering reference images for Kong I couldn’t get away from the fact I’d have to draw some scraggy fur on his face. It’s something I’ve always struggled with and I’ve never perfected a technique that accomplishes a convincing result. So I set aside a couple hours before starting this piece to really practice drawing fur and getting a process down which will be easy to replicate on all different types of hair and fur!
