This is the major stick for me… it is using pre existing art to produce and learn how to create the content. It is completely derivative and UNFAIR.

and the thing is, generative AI can only "create" by combining existing stuff, in part or in whole, that was made by humans. it doesn't and can't introduce entirely novel elements.
