@mollyburkeofficial: I love the efforts that Just Better Bottles is making to create inclusive shampoo and conditioner bottles for the blind and visually impaired community! There are a few improvements I think could be made to make them even better but they’re already so much better than what’s out there in the market! #HairTikTok #UniversalDesign #InclusiveDesign
Good tip on braille size. As a marketer, I’m going to keep that in the back of my head for future use

High contrast would be a good improvement. It’s so cool to see a company using Braille on bottles!

Wouldn't it be better if they were either 1) sold with soap in them and refillable or 2) sold with a funnel to make pouring easier?

You said exactly what I was thinking with high conttast because I totally did not even see there was anything on the bottle at first!

I worked for a BIG hair care company & 1 of our lines was differentiated. I fought hard to keep it when they updated but they nixed it to save money

Is there a raised symbol on the top of the lid or do you have to feel the sides to know which is which?

Braille on every single product manufactured for sale should be made legally mandatory.

They also need a pump! Dropping that small cap would be hard to find for visually impaired people.

Low vision here. Those bottles would be great with high contrast. In the shower I would always place the shampoo to the left of the conditioner.

I use glasses and when I'm in the shower It takes me forever to know what the shampoo and conditioner are even though I can read 😩

Agreed on the size Braille— as a TVI I’ve never understood “jumbo Braille “ and certainly never had success with it.

I would also say it would be nice if they were upside down so you could get everything out

Makes you wonder why brands don’t just hire you as a consultant 🤔

Question! Maybe it’s just because you repeted it and it got mixed up but you said tactile braile, isn’t it always tactile? Love your content!!

Another example for low vision would be to change the colour of one bottle top. Currently both are white tops on a grey bottle, but if you change one top to grey it makes it simpler to tell.

Honestly the high contrast would’ve been helpful for the video. I can’t even see the words on camera!

When I was younger I used a brand for a while that had shampoo upright and conditioner upside down even though I didn’t love it because it was easier.

Two different bold colors would also be good for those of us with some vision, but it’s poor.
