People will tell you that they do best in pairs and that’s true, but it can be very difficult even for a vet to tell what’s a boy and what’s a girl and people end up with a herd of guinea pigs.

Some tips : Lots of hay, and fresh veggies! As everyone said, better in pairs. Using fleece instead of shavings is a good option too! 🥰

guinea pigs need a large enclosure! nothing fancy - just large & flat with some hidey spots! we used a lil table w a cage around the sides :)
