Start investing with your 401k through work. Invest up to the match if you have one. If you still have money to invest, open a Roth IRA and max that out. ($7,000 is the max, and each spouse can do one) If you still have money to invest, go back to that 401k and max it out ($23,000 is the max this year). If you ever have a “Roth” option choose it. It simply means you're paying taxes on the front end instead of later when you take the money out. Look to invest your money across 4 types of funds. 1. Growth 2. Growth and Income 3. Aggressive Growth 4. International Be sure to reinvest your dividends. Get a Ramsey Trusted SmartVestor Pro to help you get started. #investing #401k #investingforbeginners #rothira
