I ride a 2019 goldwing and upgraded Android Auto this weekend set it up and it recognized it as a motorcycle and works flawlessly so someone is misinformed.

Honda is advertising Andriod Auto will work on there bikes. Dealership said it works on 2024 Goldwings. Honda stated Harley would not do a deal with Android.

Android auto (wired) works fine on my 23 ultra limited, no whim. Use it every ride.

I honestly don't see the need for it. just use a phone mount and Bluetooth, does the same thing.

FYI... Honda has multiple models that support Android Auto from the factory and Honda has been offering it for the last 6 yrs
