I really wish echos were standard in general. My daughter passed from a heart defect and SO many go undetected.

I’ve had many echos .. my first baby was born with an avsd which is basically two holes in his heart so had many with them and then my second to check her heart as well

my son was born with a severe heart defect and I wish they'd do echos while pregnant so they knew the heart was fully formed.

Our son was an ivf baby and we had a fetal echo but only because of my husbands heart issues 🤷🏻♀️

I had to get one with my second pregnancy because she wouldn’t turn to show the 4 chambers of the heart during the anatomy scan and my dad and myself had holes in our hearts at birth.

I have my fetal echocardiogram scheduled for next month. My OB told me the same thing that since it’s a IVF pregnancy it’s policy to recommend.

I had to get one with my second because my first had a small hole in his heart. Luckily #2 had no issue and #1s defect resolved on its own.

Had it while pregnant with my daughter after IVF. My ob didn't recommend with my son(from the same cycle). Our ped found a murmur at birth. Get it!
