@moxtheboat: We love Athens but it has historically been difficult for us to visit by boat because of marina availability or cost. For that reason, the past few times we’ve gone to Athens we’ve decided to leave the boat somewhere else and either drive or ferry the rest of the way. It would be awesome if we could get in touch with some charter companies or sailing clubs that could rent out one of their spots to us for short term visits, but it feels like you have to know someone to make thar happen.
