@chrisellelim: Today is PHLUR’s Missing Person’s 2 year Anniversary. I developed this fragrance with our perfumer Constance Picot during the hardest time in my life. I was broken, lost, and lonely. I asked her if we could somehow bottle something that would instantly feel like a warm hug? Something that would make me feel warm and cozy? Something that was so intimate and personal. Something that would evoke the essence of your lovers skin? And that is how Missing Person was born. On 2/2/22 we introduced Missing Person to the world and I couldn’t never ever imagined in my wildest of wildest dreams that it would have such an emotional effect on people. Soon enough the internet was flooded with thousands of videos of girls and boys in tears spraying Missing Person because it reminded them of a moment in time or someone that they missed. Over night Missing Person garnered a 200,000+ person waitlist and had the whole world talking. This was truly a healing project for me- an opportunity to share my own deep pains and heartbreak thru a scent. Turns out that I wasn’t alone. Turns out that thousands of you were also craving love, craving warmth in your life, craving for intimacy. I believe in the power of vulnerability- Missing Person became more than a scent it allowed people to feel seen and be one with their emotions. It reassured people that they were not alone. Thank you all for your love and support with PHLUR these last few years. A small indie brand like PHLUR would not be here without the support of YOU all. We are just getting started and my wish is that our scents will continue to bring you love, joy, confidence, peace, happiness, self acceptance.. whatever it is that you are seeking in your life.
