receipts are printed on thermal printers and react to heat and presssure. any heat will cause it to fade

i dont mind when they fade it makes me realise that time goes by and like whit all my bad days or peope, (ect.) in life they will eventually fade

This is a little time consuming, but I use a ballpoint pen and trace over the words of the receipts and then tape over them with basic office tape and they’ve held up pretty well!

I put packing tape on this year's worth of receipts and movie tix in my journal yesterday. 90% are blank today 😭😭😭 don't use packing tape!!!

another idea is to take a photo and add them to Canva and print them out 😅 kinda not eco friendly but neither are receipts anyways
