Yes jinn are real. Not all jinns are bad but a good portion are. They are basically a different species of humans with free will. Some are atheist Christian’s and Muslim just like humans. Satan is of the jinn race. One thing Christian’s get wrong which isn’t their fault since the Bible was changed so many times is that “demons” were once angels. Angels do not have free will, their nature is to obey Gods every command it’s impossible for them to disobey. Unlike humans and jinn. Satan/Shaytans disobedience came from his jealously of Gods love for humans since Jinn came first. He did not want to bow down to Adam as God commanded since Satan/Shaytan was with the angels at the time he refused. Shaytan/Satans whole thing is to prove to God that humans aren’t so great by taking advantage of our free will and making us do horrible things so that we go to hell with him. Also another thing that Muslims believe is our souls when created were given a choice whether we wanted to be angels or better than angels and be granted paradise. Since we chose to be better we became humans instead of angels. What makes humans better is the fact that when we do good we chose to, when we refuse evil we chose to. Angels don’t choose to do any of that, that’s just angels nature they don’t have free will like us humans.
