@shellydoesdiy: HERE👇🏽 This sweet little serpentine console desperately needed a makeover. The dark wood really dated the piece so I gave it a quick, Pottery Barn-inspired makeover. Steps: 1. Fill holes with bondo and sand smooth 2. Sand with 220 grit 3. Degloss 4. Prime 5. Paint any creamy light tan color (this was Quietude by BM) 6. Brush on a thin layer of Java brown glaze w/a chip brush (can be purchased at Home Depot but I linked another similar product in my Amazon supplies that I’ll be trying this week) 7. Blend w/ deck brush 8. Brush back w/ broom 9. Repeat steps 7 &8 until you have the look you want 10. Drill holes for new hardware 11. Topcoat (Supplies linked jn Amazon store in bio.
