Not always. Sometimes, you get more work for the same pay. This causes people to job hop for the higher pay. Depends on the bosses.

I agree and disagree - good grades have helped my children get opportunities. That hard work and effort can present in good grades and get rewarded. Scholarships…etc.

Well any university will look at your highschool marks. So if you want to be an engineer, doctor, or any professional yes high school marks matter.

Funny enough, I’ve witnessed hard workers waiting for their raise. Over 10 years in their tenure, and the boss just thinks that’s the way the person is. So no raise given, person afraid to ask for one
