Whether you have tried to make sourdough in the past or you are looking to make it for the first time- I’ve got you.  I was waiting to share this video until my page had more tutorial playlists, but with the b@n possibly coming I figured I’d post it anyways. But please consider foll0wing along anyways because if TT remains I’ll be sure to start making more tutorial playlists 🫶 On my I G, is a saved highlight called START HERE. It’s a visual walkthrough tutorial on making a loaf of sourdough step by step. (You can find it in my bi0)  Save this video for this very basic sourdough loaf recipe. It’s a lower hydration recipe using only all purpose flour since that’s an affordable flour attainable for most people.  -500g all purpose flour -350g water  -75g sourdough starter  -10g salt  Instructions:  - Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl to form a shaggy dough, cover bowl. This is when “bulk fermentation” begins.  - Let dough rest for 30mins to an hour and then perform a stretch and fold. Perform 2-3 more stretch and folds every 30mins-hour.  - After your stretch and folds are complete you will let the dough rest as it finishes its bulk fermentation. Now do a final shape on your dough and place into a lined bowl or proofing basket. You can line the bowl with paper towels so dough won’t stick to it. - Next step is the second rise. You can leave the loaf on the counter for 1.5-2 hours or you can place in the fridge to cold proof. You can leave loaf in the fridge for a minimum of 8 hours up to 2 days prior to baking. -Bake: Preheat your oven at 450F with a Dutch oven inside. Once it’s preheated let Dutch oven sit and get very hot for an additional 30 mins.  - Once loaf is ready to bake place loaf on a large piece of parchment paper. - Using a razor or serrated knife, make a large cut from top to bottom of your loaf, this is the expansion score.  — Place in dutch oven. Bake for 22 mins, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 mins based on desired color.  - Once out place on a cooling rack and let cool for at least an hour before cutting into.  - Enjoy!
