I woke up drenched in sweat... another horrible nightmare, my life was hell since he rejected me. He was a boy in my class at university, I confessed to him that I liked him but he said that right now he didn't want to be with anyone, but that I seemed like a nice girl and that when he was ready he would look for me so we stayed friends... I accepted him, I accepted his friendship and I wish I hadn't. I look at my phone and see how on his social networks he appears with a girl, a girl who turns out to be his girlfriend, that's how he describes her in the photo: 'My beautiful girlfriend' ...you knew that you were just friends but still you can't help but feel hurt, because he told you that you would be his choice. You sit in the stands, on the athletics track and cry inconsolably... you liked him and he has betrayed you in the worst way. Suddenly a shadow appears in front of you, you look up and see a very handsome boy in front of you, he offers you a vanilla milkshake, which happens to be your favorite.

"Thanks Jay, I'm Y/n" you say smiling slightly. "When you're not crying you're so pretty" he says spontaneously. "Ouch" you say a little hurt... but laughing. "Sorry, we're in a couple of classes together and I think you're really pretty" he says. "Yeah, you look familiar... Calculus and Physics?" you say as you look at him. "Yeah, exactly" he says smiling. "Thanks for the drink, it's my favorite actually" you say. "I know, you always carry one with you, I've noticed how you enjoy it, I saw you here and decided to bring you one" your eyes widen at the incredible confession. "Shall we go?" he says. "Where to?" you say. "Physics, we have class right now, we'll be late" he says. "Oh shit, I forgot, come on!" you say hurrying. You arrive and the teacher tells you to do a project in pairs. "Shall we do it together?" Jay asks you. You nod and you two spend the rest of the afternoon working in the library. Suddenly you get a text on your phone, you look at it and it's your friend... 'Hey babe, meet me at the usual cafe?' You're in shock... why would he want to meet you if he has a girlfriend? 'Now you have a girlfriend... forget me' you say back. 'I like you y/n, she's just a hobby...' Ok, that answer does make you angry, if it's a hobby why is he dating her? 'She's nice, but I don't like her aa much as i like you, we could have fun' You frown without understanding anything. "Y/n, is everything okay?" Jay says next to you. "Uh yeah... sorry I got distracted for a moment" you say with wet eyes about to cry. "I actually need to go to the bathroom" you try but the tears spill before you can leave the library, you hear Jay calling your name but you run. You run to the bathroom and lock yourself in one of the stalls, you cry and you feel worse than before, does he want to play both sides? You shake your head ignoring that thought and go out to wash your face, your eyes are swollen and red... You come out of the bathroom and you find Jay leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. "Y/n, are you okay? Please what's wrong?" he says resting his hands on your shoulders.
