If classic squats are part of your routine, then you must regularly engage your hips and inner tighs in unusual ways, to break up the monotony of the same moves (and prevent injuries). This little exercise is a treat for that. It stretches and it strengthens. Perform a side squat but go all the way down to sit and then get up without changing position.
