@thefullfreezer: I Can Never Get Through A Whole Tub 😬 Hummus is one of those foods that I like, but only ever in small quantities. The good news is, as long as we’ve not been double-dipping, we can totally freeze any excess for another day ❄️ It’s always a good idea to check with the specific brand that it’s safe for you to freeze; sometimes they’ll advise against it for quality reasons but as long as it’s safe then I’d always give it a go! 😁 It can absorb other smells from the freezer, and can be prone to freezer burn, so you may want to wrap your cubes in foil before popping them in a freezer bag, or double bagging it (I wash the bag once empty and reuse) ❄️🔥 I don’t tend to find this is much of a problem unless it’s frozen for more than a few weeks 📆 You can absolutely use it as a dip after freezing, but it can be a little thinner, and the flavour can change slightly, so you may want to use it in other ways, for example… 🥪 Use it as a sandwich spread 🌯 Use it in wraps 🍝 Thin it down with a bit of olive oil and water and use as a pasta sauce 🍲 Add it to soup 🥗 Thin it down with olive oil, water, lemon juice and season, then use as a salad dressing I’d love to know if you give this a go! ❤️ 👍 Like if you found this useful ✈️ Share with a friend 🔖 Save for later #hummus #houmous #hommus #lovefoodhatewaste #canifreezeit #stopfoodwaste #nofoodwasted
