I recovered from a back surgery. Walked by the nurses station and saw a monitor of cameras pointed to pt beds. No privacy in hospitals.

I noticed when my Dad was in the hospital they had a viewing station setup. There was a nurse sitting at it with head phones on watching a screen that had all the rooms up in it.

I would cover the lenses, that is illegal to have a camera in your room. What if someone is using the camera to look at people disrobing.

Going to be honest with you as a nurse who’s done this many many times. if patient drinks a lot of water I give them less ice so there’s more water.

That’s not what the virtual nurse is for. It’s to assist the floor nurse who has an overwhelming number of patients. It helps the nurse with small tasks and patient requests
