@socialmediajalyn: The do’s & don’ts. Over the last few months, I have found it helpful to send my coaching client’s “Jalyn’s Cheat Sheet”, I figured why not share it here for you! Content DO’s ✅ 1080 x 1920 for video dimensions Exporting videos in 2k setting not HDR 1080 x 1350 for static/carousel posts Captions = hook, keywords, call-to-actions, hashtags! Adding text & captions to reels in Instagram Videos under 1 minute 30 seconds, I like talking videos to be 45 seconds & b-roll to be 5-7 seconds! Hook/Title that is catchy & clickable - not cut-off on Instagram grid Content DONT’s ❌ Tiktok watermarks Black borders 𝔣𝔞𝔫𝔠𝔶 𝔣𝔬𝔫𝔱𝔰 Saying “Hey Guys” or awkward pauses Blurry videos, low quality graphics Forgetting hashtags or keywords Using too many different colors/fonts Using too many stock photos/videos Promoting yourself follow/like/save Posts with no purpose, each post should have an action to sell or to get a follow!
