I graduated four years ago, but most of my teachers taught sitting down, unless if they were writing on the board or managing their PowerPoint from the laptop which was on top of a rolling cart

I sit and teach! Honestly the class does better when I do, not sure why….but if a kid falls asleep in class I let them sleep. They clearly need it

If they sleep, they “miss out.” But if they do that during a walk-through, or while you are being evaluated, you get dinged 🙄
