The closest people used to be given basically their whole shift to zone (cleanup and organize) and put stuff back. Then they changed it and they spend most of their shift pushing product from the back

It's all retail stores, employees clean the stores for 3-6 hours if not more, but corporates cut payroll budgets so some stores our lucky if its 1-3 employees in store or just departments zoning it! People just don't put the items away where they get it, they toss it on the floor like its garbage! I remember as a kid growing up people had manners and respect, but its gone away!

Guests are entitled and rude. My store makes everyone do multiple tasks so.wr have very little time to zone. Then the guests leave garbage all over the store. its ridiculous

You saw staff but they were probably busy doing OPU, stocking, or reshop. They have been extremely understaffed for many years and it’s finally showing and getting to the breaking point

I don’t think it’s so much the employees but the inconsiderate and filthy shoppers.

I worked in retail (not Target) and people did this all the time. Some days we couldn’t keep up with it.

What Target is this? Yes, our Target looks like a tornado hit it. I worked at Target in 2014 & it was spotless. I think Target needs to being back people who just zone the store.

hi, target employee here :) it is NOT that the employees “don’t care enough” to clean it up. the majority of our shifts are spent zoning (cleaning up/reorganizing) the areas after guests. it’s just that once we’re done, it immediately gets trashed again. so please don’t say that we don’t care - it’s simply not true.

we're tired of people coming through our stores and making messes people don't understand the workload we have at us and people just leave messages everywhere
