Would oven cleaner help lighten the wicker??? That'd be cool! Then paint the rest either a light sage green or make it a lighter stain as well either by sanding or by oven cleaner application.

Fix up the top to be nice stained wood, paint (😵) bottoms white, pop of fun wallpaper in the shelves!

Paint them a midnight blue and add gold hardware. Dry brush some metallic gold on the wicker.
