ABEOKUTA NORTH: A UNITED APC FAMILY, A SHARED VISION FOR 2027 Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining the leadership, ward executives and stakeholders of our great All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government Area at Ori-Omi, Sokori. It was a deeply encouraging gathering that brought together party leaders and stakeholders from across the four zones of Owu, Gbagura, Oke-Ona and Oke-Ogun, demonstrating once again the strength, unity and commitment of our party at the grassroots. I sincerely appreciate our leaders, including Hon. Adekunle Adesina, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, High Chief Ajao Bakai Okedara, the APC Chairman in Abeokuta North and his Deputy, Alhaja Faidat Akintunde Sarumi, as well as all our local government and ward executives for the warm reception and solidarity. I was particularly encouraged by the collective resolve expressed at the meeting to support our party’s candidates as we approach the 2027 general elections. Our leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the re-election of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and expressed strong support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) as our candidate for Governor of Ogun State. They also reaffirmed their support for my candidacy to continue representing the good people of Ogun Central Senatorial District in the Senate, alongside Hon. Olumide Osoba for the Obafemi-Owode/Abeokuta North/Odeda Federal Constituency and Hon. Babatunde Tela for the Ogun State House of Assembly. The message from Abeokuta North was clear: we are united, organised and ready to work together for victory. I am deeply grateful for the confidence reposed in me and for the recognition of the work we have collectively undertaken in Ogun Central. I do not take this support for granted. It strengthens my resolve to continue serving with humility, accountability and commitment. As we move towards 2027, our task is not merely to seek electoral victory. It is to deepen our connection with our people, listen to their concerns, mobilise responsibly and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every community. A united APC is a stronger APC. A stronger APC means a stronger Ogun Central and a stronger Ogun State. Together, we will continue to move forward. Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salis OMOYAYI, FNCS APC Candidate, Ogun Central Senatorial District 2027 General Elections
