14 yrs ago, went to L&D in labor. Monitors didn't show anything, discharged after few hrs. Water broke getting into the car to go home. 😫 So angry.

My nurse did that when I had my first son. She felt around my belly to find the contraction and put the monitor on the spot. It spiked lol

Noooo, I’ve seen the rubber stoppers give blisters. Use a gauze pad instead, it’s gentler on skin and does the same. So I’ve heard 😉

They monitored me from a different room for an hour… got sent home. Came back via ambulance and spent 30 seconds in triage before being sent up to L&D… feeling the need to push since home, I was 8cm
