My cat purred while she was in labor. Other signs of discomfort were obvious. She did really well though. 4 healthy kittens out in an hour.

The reason I knew my cat had something wrong was because he would constantly clean his privates. Brought it up to his vet-it was cystitis!

One of my cats loves to eat, but she’s getting sores in the corners of her mouth and not eating. Vet couldn’t find anything wrong. 3 weeks now. 🙁

what about purring when stressed but not pain? when my dog and bfs cat were introduced, after a bit she went to the top of her cat tree and was purring a bit (for context my dog gets...excited by cats

Mine has become so aggressive. She use to let us hold her, cut her nails and more and now no. We did introduce a new cat but its been over 6 months. She still eats and drinks and no problem with litter. Took her to the doctor and they said she was fine but i really think something isnt right.

Our cat had to have her temperature taken daily and of course she hated it, so she would purr to self soothe during that even though it didn’t hurt.
