@love2hvac: Replying to @johnnycold Great question! we already have one that works almost identical to R22, and it's not ozone depleting and it have a very very veryoe GWP AND it's a natural refrigerant called R290! the problem is it's an A3 flammable refrigerant that scares everybody here. so we first have to move to an A2L mildly flammable refrigerant and then we might move to R290 like Europe is already doing. At AHR almost all manufactures had a monoblock R290 heat pump. A self contained package unit outside that used glycol running inside to heat and cool the house plus heat the water too! if it leaks, it all leaks outside. how long before it gets here? 🤷‍♂️ #refrigerant #r290 #r22 #r32 #a2l #hvac
