This message from @Beth Wilkas Feraco has a special place in my heart, because it is a rabbit hole I found myself falling into a long time ago. I became so obsessed with eating the most nutritious foods that I accidentally sacrificed a big chunk of my overall wellbeing.  Because not eating cake is fine. But, being absolutely petrified to eat cake is not the same thing, for example. Lots of people take this to the extreme, and think they they absolutely NEED to avoid all processed food, all sugar, all delicious snacks, or whatever dietary rulebook they are following. People who follow very restrictive diets but then find themselves having a lot of anxiety around food. It’s not just about what you eat, but your psychology around what you eat. Because trust me, I am in a much healthier and happier place now I can eat more freely without intense guilt and anxiety.
