@mobilitymvmnt: If you’ve had extremely tight hips for as long as you can remember - it’s likely due to an accumulation of stress stored in the body. Start your mobility routine by gently rocking the hips to discharge the stored stress. Don’t go for a “deep” stretch - less is more here & focus on deep diaphragmatic breathing, staying present in the body. As the hips open up, you will have a big emotional release; you might cry, and that’s okay. You will feel less pain, and the hips will start to relax. This is how I’ve combined my two disciplines of kinesiology & experiential psychotherapy or Nervous System Regulation Through Movement. This is what I teach in the MVMNT membership 🥹 💖 NS Regulation requires practice, repetition and it needs to be embodied (just like any other Skill) Experiential learning means we are changing how the survival brain and nervous system respond in the heat of the moment. If you want to learn more, I invite you to join the MVMNT membership for a limited time; we are offering 50% off your first 3 months ONLY TODAY!!! I infuse nervous system regulation techniques for every mobility routine, and nervous system regulation education and workbooks are also inside the app! Link in bio P.S. Start with the “Start Here” Section inside the app 🤗 #mobilitymvmnt #lowbackpainrelief #mobility #hiprelief #tighthips #nervoussystemregulation

I have to constantly pause the video to even read much less watch what you’re doing. Can you just make a longer video that allows for reading AND watching?
