Walk from L to R and look and up and down. Most people are R-handed so starting left and looking up and down the wall in strips helps catch things.

Another sign of mould, look behind the toilet or radiators where they likely haven’t painted 🙃 you will see the mould there too!

Is their any point in cleaning this if your landlord isn’t willing to fix the root cause? As surely it’s all going to come back in a couple of weeks or do these products prevent the mould coming back?

I have mould on all my windows and now it’s in my wardrobe, all my landlord suggested was a dehumidifier but for a good one we’re looking at £200+

I would add take pictures; I feel like I forget the whole place as soon as the tour is done, so it helps me to go back and view them and look at details and remind myself what it looked like.

black mould is often caused by condensation, could be dodgy windows, blocked or not enough fans, might be worth getting a dehumidifier x
