@jennaliveswell: only 5 ingredients needed for this one!! • 1 cup natural peanut butter (creamy or crunchy works) • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup • 1/3 cup protein powder (i like vanilla or unflavored) • 1/2 tsp salt (you can also do flakey sea salt sprinkled on top) • dark chocolate, melted for drizzling on top how to make: • in a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until well blended • stir in the protein powder and salt until everything is evenly combined. The mixture should be thick and sticky. • line a 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal later. • press the mixture evenly into the lined baking dish using a spatula or your hands, making sure it’s tightly packed. • drizzle with chocolate now or wait until after cutting (see below) • place the baking dish in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to chill and firm up. • once chilled, lift the parchment paper to remove peanut butter protein mixture from the baking dish.
