@ashallaboutmoney: Replying to @Bryce Cunningham the goal when we pay our credit cards is to keep the card balance low on the card’s statement date! For this reason i like to pay the credit cards on the due date! The statement date is usually 3-5 days after the due date! #credit #score #tips #howto #creditcard #card
Isn’t statement date supposed to be before Due date?

So always leave an extremely small balance on the cards to help jump credit ? Never pay them off to a zero balance ??????

Why do credit card companies not do the statement date on the same day or the day after the due date?

As someone who works with credit cards ignore all the other dates, only due date is important. Payments made that day is valid.

Why when I pay it off in full and have a zero balance my credit drops. If I have a small balance next statement date it goes backup

I do this, but I keep like $500 cash and throw everything else on the credit card, and after the statement date I buy my normal things I need and make sure to spend less than what I paid. -1

I use my credit card as my debit card. After buying something I go on my bank app and pay the amount . Helps a lot your credit score

Capital One takes a couple of days to update your balance FYI. I paid mine the day before statement date and even though I brought it down to 30% it
