@shellydoesdiy: DETAILS👇🏽 These Drexel nightstands were begging for a modern makeover. STEPS 1. Remove old moulding and square off top. Then reattach top with liquid nails and brackets. 2. Use miter saw and drill to build base out of 2x2s and attach to nightstand bottoms 3. Fill hardware holes with dowels 4. Sand with orbital sander using 80 grit then 220 5. Prime 6. Paint any creamy light tan color (this was a mix of Natural Linen (SW) and Quietude (Benjamin Moore) 7. Brush on a thin layer of brown glaze w/a chip brush 8. Brush back w/ broom 9. Blend w/ deck brush 10. Repeat steps 8 & 9 until you have the look you want 11. Topcoat 12. Add hardware #nightstandmakeover #oldtonewfurniture
