Oud appears most prominently to me at first with a cypriol edge, melting slowly into a sweet creamy butterscotch oud across 8+ hours of wear on my skin. 🍮🪵 I can👏not👏 get enough of this scent. I love cypriol with vanilla like in Aurelien Guichard’s Bleu Turquoise for Armani Prive, but even then I sometimes feel the cypriol overpowering its vanilla counterpart. Here, Gold Spot has this bold rich luxe oud with a touch of cypriol that are both balanced and rounded out so elegantly by this continuous drizzle of butterscotch that radiates more off my skin as it wears throughout the day. ✨👌🏼 Babes, this, is chef’s kiss. There is also a note of dark chocolate, probably adding a smoothness to the Laotian oud and Suyufi agarwood. Notes of vanilla, amber, sweet myrrh, and musk are seamlessly blended in so I don’t notice one at a time.
