How was the taste? I subbed applesauce in brownies once and all I could taste was the apple. I had to throw them away they were so blech (to me).

You can replace 1 egg with 2 tsp baking powder, 2 tsp oil, and 1 tablespoon water whisked together. Works best for cookies or flat cakes
