How long has she been in Japan? If she grew up in Japan since she was a baby, her being miss Japan I think is fine. But if she moved there and was older then I don’t think it’d appropriate.

I feel like it can’t go both ways. Either ur a citizen, regardless of where ur born, (in which case , miss japan, Germany and Ireland etc are fine) same as football players etc. (1)
