I also want to add from another standpoint: we are short staffed. CNAs and nurses already have very high pts loads. Their pay doesn’t reflect taking another patient on or they simply dont have time.

i disagree, no other job is like this and it is what causes burn out. While this would happen in a perfect world you shouldn’t be expected to do 4 peoples jobs
