1360 is a lot in a year when you look at the amount you ACTUALLY pay in the carbon tax. If you don’t like the tax, use less. Then you’ll pay less and STILL get this ‘next to nothing’ payout.

I think some people conflate the price of gas with the rebate they expect. The rebate is just for the taxed portion on the price of gas.

The rebate barely scratches the carbon tax. Everything is more expensive due to it, and then pay taxes on the inflated goods.
