My mom spent most of her childhood in Finland and when we didn’t want to learn finish when we were kids she was like “K 🤷♀️” but now I’m 30 and I’m like “MOM WHY DIDNT YOU TEACH ME” 😩

My husband was French and I was not. Since I stayed home with them I tried to only speak French to them from what I learned in school. I then put them in French immersion and they are now bilingual
