We were never supposed to be this disconnected from our food. 🌱🥩🍳 Cooking steak and eggs at Polyface Farm reminded me that food is so much more than calories, macros, or a nutrition label. There’s land behind it. There are animals behind it. There are farmers behind it. There’s an entire story before it ever reaches our plate. The more I learn about food, the more I want to get back to the basics: simple ingredients, knowing where my food comes from, cooking at home, and supporting farmers doing things the right way when I can.
