@eatwithebs: VEGAN FOOD IN BUDAPEST 🇭🇺 Wow. First of all let me just emphasise that the food I ate in Budapest left me so happy that I really DID not want to leave. I always anticipate eating abroad as a vegan, even though I can look at 18362 reviews I still won’t be convinced. But in Budapest?! I hit the jackpot. And not one meal let me down. I wish I had more time to try more food. Because there were a plethora of restaurants with different cuisines from pan Asian, Middle Eastern to traditional Hungarian food. All with vegan options! Who’s been to Budapest? And would you go after seeing this vid? Comment 💓 So where did I eat? @Yama Budapest - 10/10 - Pan Asian YAMA's offer is authentic but not traditional. They build their diverse Asian fusion cuisine on classics and surprising innovations. I had 3 dishes that I was super happy with, it was the kimchi fried rice, enoki fried mushrooms and Korean bbq cauliflower. I felt very satisfied and if you were to try here you’ll see why. A bit on the expensive side BUT still affordable compared to these Hakkasan and Roka if you like to go boujie wid it. @Vegan_Garden 🌱 - 7/10 - 100% Vegan This is an 100% vegan restaurant. I was lucky to have this next to my hotel. They believe that supporting local farmers and businesses is important for both the economy and the environment and I absolutely love this. I really enjoyed my meal. I wasn’t a huge fan of the cheesecakes though. They were very dense as they were made with coconut milk. The apple one was better than the berry (was very sour) but I couldn’t have more than one mouthful of each. Their menu is huge and I wish I had time to try more. They even have a full vegan cocktail menu with a good range of cocktails. @REBEL Burger & more - 9/10 - Burgers, tacos etc. You really can’t go wrong with burgers and fries. However this was sensational. The fries were salted and cooked to perfection and I loved how they weren’t like your average fries and were cut differently which made the eating experience a pleasure. The guacamole had to be one of the best I’ve eaten out. Like exactly how I would make it. So that was straight fire! The burger itself was a DIY build a burger and I went innnnn. The fact they have clearly labelled vegan things on the menu made it so easy for me to order. 26 Degrees - 8/10 - Brunch spot This spot was not only aesthetically pleasing. But it was so delicious. From when I walked in my nose was twitching from the flavas in the air. I went with the avocado caesar salad. Although it doesn’t look like much, the tahini dressing was actually the star of the show. My only suggestion is that they should pack the salad out with more veggies/fruit. So I had to get some bread to make sure it would fill me up a lil. They also didn’t have plantbased butter which was a bit sad. The ice coffee though was so nice! Low-key regretted that I didn’t get the vegan shakshouka as someone next to me got it and it looked and smelt AMAZING. Sao - Vietmenese & Chinese fusion - 10/10 Yes yes yes. This place was a Vietnamese dream. The waitress was so so helpful in letting me know that literally any dish could be vegan. I went with her recommendation and it was the best thing ever, a broth full of flava, rich with umami and filled with so many yummy vegetables. I even loved the fact they made it extra spicy for me because you know I love a likkle spice, I was actually so sad for it to end, @Hads caught me necking it back – judge me If you like 😂 #foodreview #budapestvegan #veganinhungary #hungary #budapest #citybreak #vegantravels #veganfood #planybasedvegan #yamabudapest #twentysixdegrees #rebelburgerandmore #vegangardenbudapest #budapestfoodguide #veganfood
