My OBGYN asks me everytime "if we met." He delivered my baby and tied my tubes 18 month prior. Also, at my 6 week he asked "what are we doing for bc" after he tied my tubes. (During my C-section)🫠

my first pap the nurse tried to hold me still cause I was shaking so bad. learned from a different Dr that paps can be done without a speculum if needed. vaginismus is the worst

I was 16 when I had my firsr exam and she closed the metal speculum too quickly and pinched me so badly. I was terrified to go back.

Also for those who struggle with vaginismus, my OB uses lidocaine gel prior to inserting the speculum and this helps a ton!!

A Dr once told me it also helps to know if you have a retroverted uterus or not because it helps knw what speculum to use. Life changing for me!

wiggle my toes makes me more nervous and even more anxious when doing my pap smear done on me and talking during the exam does not help me at all
