I can’t believe we did this 😅👇🏼 Packrafting is something we’ve always wanted to try but also… it felt crazy to just start. So, when we got the opportunity to go on this trip in Mexico, we could not have been more stoked. This trip was challenging in so many ways. It was a brand new way to travel for us, we had to learn to be comfortable on the river all day, the hike in and out were brutal and it never got below 90 degrees so we baked all day every day (thank god there’s a river!!). Every day we looked at each other and said “should we buy packrafts?!” 😂 We also used a toilet tube for the first time and saw some of the largest spiders we’ve ever seen 🫣. I’m telling you, quite the adventure. To be honest, I have been quite slow to edit this content because I was a little scarred after leaving Mexico. This trip was absolutely insane but we also lost our whole SD card with 256 GB of photos and video from the trip, we both got food poisoning/a virus/a parasite while we were there and have been awfully sick for the past two weeks, and I bruised a rib (the clip is in this video) on the river and it has been painful to sleep or do much 😅. BUT this was still one of the craziest things we’ve done and the memories are living on in our heads forever!! To everyone who came on this trip with us (this was our first group trip!!): we LOVE YOU and you truly made this trip what it was. What a freaking adventure… @lizriv025 @906lau @ablmnt @lindsey__fletcher @e40mcguire @josie__drake Now… do we buy packrafts?! 😅 #camping #campinglife #packrafting #adventureculture #adventurecouple
