@bellaexplorestheworld: Let’s take a trip through Fela’s house! Yes, this used to be the home of the great Fela Anikulapo Kuti and is his resting place. This is Kalakuta Museum located at 7 Gbemisola Street, Allen, Ikeja and entry here costs N5,000 per head. Imagine walking through where Fela once lived, going through pictures and pictures of his story as well as beautiful arts and craft to feel the pulse of his activism. But here’s where it gets really cool – we got to see Fela’s personal stuff. Yep, his undies and shoes, right there in his old bedroom! And get this – there’s a little hotel/restaurant tucked away in the museum with rooms for as low as N25,000 per night. It looked very simple and if you want to chill, there’s a place on the rooftop!
