@michaelamushelelo: My fellow Namibians, Namibia Security Workers Union is inviting all Security Guards in Windhoek to a meeting this Saturday 9th March 2024 starting at 07h00 at Katutura Complex. The problem in the Security Industry is that the rate paid per hour is way below the price of bread. If we unite all the Security Guards under one strong Union we can ensure that the rate paid to security guards improves massively. The price of bread is N$15.00 so all Security Guards must be paid a minimum hourly rate of N$15.00 this means that guards will now eat N$180.00 per day if you work for 26 days that means you will now be paid N$4,680.00 per month.
