The company sets up timing when the text are sent out. I feel like they set it to go out 10 minutes after the appointment for next day on purpose 🤷🏼♀️

Pro Tip: call once to "reschedule" your appointment for the next day, then call back immediately after and cancel. 👍🏼 cancellation fee avoided! 😁👌🏼

cancellation fees are for when a company would miss out on money bc the appointment was canceled but a free appointment wouldn’t bring in money immediately.

As a businessman, my clients can cancel an hour before and they won’t be charged. But if that becomes a pattern, I won’t book them again unless there are circumstances.

yowza. $80 is a lot for a fee, I would have just shown up with the flu. between the improperly charged card and the owner's impressively terrible response, that'll be an expensive $80 for them, too

I’d dispute the charge on my CC, I also worked in the medical field and we had to have SIGNED consent to keep patient CC on file!! And v specific verbiage about charging for missed appt/cancelations!!
